I want my front teeth to look better, but I don’t want to wear braces. What would you recommend?

There are several options that involve changing the shape of the front teeth with veneers, cosmetic contouring or crowns. The procedures can involve the removal of tooth structure, and there must be a complete evaluation of the benefits and risks of each procedure before proceeding with these treatments. Dr. Hoskins will help you understand the options.

We love referrals from our patients.

What happens at the first visit?

You will meet our staff, they will take your history, and Dr. Hoskins will do a complete evaluation, including a chart of your teeth and gum health.  Your first visit will last about an hour and 15 minutes.  Bring your insurance card so you can be reimbursed according to your benefits.  We will also schedule a return visit for a review of our findings and a hygiene therapy appointment.

How much is the first visit?

The fee for the initial examination is between $150 and $250, depending on which x-rays are needed to complete your dental history.

Do I get my teeth cleaned at the first visit?

No, just as you wouldn’t want to meet a nurse before you see the specialist, Dr. Hoskins prefers to do a complete evaluation and give a review of his findings before you see the hygienist.  That way he can give a good hand-off, and your treatment will already be planned and underway. This establishes a good foundation for the relationship that we hope will last for many years.
